I see the global chaos of today as similar to the chaos before a cell divides. Earth human civilization must inevitably divide the Earth soul to other planets and beyond. The alternative is either human extinction, environmental collapse, or a nuclear exchange which sterilizes the planet.
The Earth rock would then orbit along, following the sun as a failed biosphere. It would make some of the alien civilizations very sad! We wouldn't care, because we would all be obliterated, perhaps in some other energetic forms.
Let us all work towards expansion instead of annihilation, turning our backs on the millenia of genocide and destruction. Forward progress lies in caring for the planet obsessively and healing our own darkness which we affix to others.
Our place is in dividing our planet cell to the next closest host, Mars. These are the choices being presented to our new global society.
Once the second soul cell of Earth is firmly on its way to birthing its first duplicate, the next two will follow quickly. We will know how it's done! Perhaps fungal terraforming is one way forward? Perhaps catching watery comets?
Perhaps we will learn more about planetary energetics in the future or ancient secrets will be unlocked. We will have the energy sources of the future. It will be all of these and many other developments we cannot now see.
The new Earth soul cells will be of many sizes. They will carry many, if not most of Earth's species to the stars. Forget the all metal ships of Star Trek (I know, blasphemy!) and Halo.
They will be in the form of hollowed out asteroids and biosphere cells, warping out through worm holes and faster than light technologies. Ships and craft will not be accurate terms for them. They will have and contain ships and craft, but only to maintain and grow the Earth cells that will rapidly expand!
After this first, difficult main Earth cell division, the rest follow quickly and far easier. Homo sapien destiny is to assist the Earth soul cell to divide as the cells in our bodies divide.
Each of us can assist in our own ways if we focus on this expanding future and let it guide our actions and decisions. The forward way is as one species of peaceful life expanders, origin: Earth.
